LATE NIGHT HARMONY
2009 4th Place Quartet Medalists
Late Night Harmony took 4th place at the 2009 Spring Region 19 Sweet Adeline Contest. They have been singing together for over 5 years. They
have had the pleasure of being coached by Freddie King, Betty Clipman, Sharon Babb, Rick Serpico, Linda Beaver, Maureen Holcombe,
and Ida Bilodeau, just to name a few. Late Night Harmony has performed everywhere from a private birthday party at the Four
Season's Hotel to a mushroom farm - don't ask. Late Night Harmony is proud to be on the Mainliner's Holiday Show again this
year!
Meet the gals...
Marybeth Dalessandro (tenor). Marybeth Dalessandro is a single mom to 4 kids, ages 14-21, and is a scientist for a drug company. With two in college and
two involved in all things musical and non-musical, we don't know how she does it! Marybeth caught the barbershop bug from
her sister, and spent some time as a barbershop "groupie" before becoming a barbershopper herself. She is an associate member
of the Valley Forge Chorus of Sweet Adelines. Marybeth can tell you about the science behind drug development as well as the
finer details of how to keep your cell phone working after retrieving it from a flushing toilet.
Dottie Keefer (bass). Dottie Keefer has been a part of Late Night Harmony since its birth. She is married to Richie, who is also a barbershopper.
They have two children and four grandchildren. In Dottie's daytime life she is in accounts receivable and order purchasing.
She has been a member of SAI for many years and is currently a member Valley Forge Chorus where she is Assistant Director
and bass section leader. Looking at our picture you may have to agree that Dottie needs to invest in a pair of stilts.
Debbie Kirsch (lead). Debbie Kirsch (lead). Debbie Kirsch, married to high-school sweetheart and barbershopper, Steve, is an Executive Administrative
Assistant. She has two boys who are active in sports and music - go figure! Debbie is a "barbershop brat", who caught the
"bug" from her dad at a young age. Debbie joined her first Sweet Adeline chorus at age 16 as a Baritone, but switched to Lead
to form Late Night Harmony with the original bass, Dottie. Debbie's favorite candy is Peanut M&Ms.
Joni Gailey (baritone). Joni Gailey is originally from California and has three daughters. Her four grandchildren call her "G'ma". She is a legal
secretary and divides her days between two Law Firms. Joni has lived in Pennsylvania for 21 years. She heard barbershop
for the first time in 1986 and jumped in with both feet. Joni is an active member of the Valley Forge Chorus of Sweet Adelines
where she is the baritone section leader. Joni says she will never get used to Pennsylvania weather...there is no humidity
in California.
We would love to sing for you! Please contact Dottie Keefer: dottiekeefer@Yahoo.com.
